AI Events

The 22nd annual information technology festival, entirely dedicated to immersive realities, was held at the National Theater of Catalonia (TNC). The stage was created by a giant rear-projection screen, where artificial intelligence (AI) was displayed, which is increasingly present in our lives. Its progress is unstoppable, and content in the events sector is no exception. 

  

AI Avatars 

During the event, attendees witnessed an innovative experience in which avatars played a fundamental role, presenting and interacting with the speakers and the audience. The event began with a welcome from an avatar, which then returned to participate in various sections of the event. The most incredible part was when the comedians created an improv show (improvisational theater), interacting with the audience and the artificial intelligence. We're used to browsing websites served by virtual presenters, but with AI, we can interact with them, and they have a high learning capacity. 

AI Art 

AI art is already present in renowned museums such as the MoMA in New York, with striking creations that truly amaze the audience. An event of this nature could not be missing the work of artist Alba Corral. Her visual art is expressed through digital formats in media such as videos and installations.

AI Music 

There are many music creation programs powered by artificial intelligence that allow users to generate custom songs, combining instruments with vocals. They also have the ability to generate lyrics based on the "prompts" the user provides. A prompt is the text we provide, which serves as a guide for generating the music they provide. This guidance determines the final result, so we must be specific about the style we want, specify the lyrics we expect, indicate whether we want them sung, and so on. 

Gamification 

The word gamification comes from the English word "game." It's often used at events to create a highly motivating dynamic. A fun game was presented at the event where the audience had to guess which photo of a person was real or created with AI. This opens up endless possibilities that we're sure to see at events in the near future. 

The communications agency Philinks was responsible for the creative concept, as well as the technical production and general coordination of the event with audiovisual equipment from MD. 

In addition to the giant rear projection, MD was also responsible for the audiovisual control systems for broadcasting all content, sound mixing, and CCTV with multiple cameras covering the live show.
