Inclusive streams for events

15-11-2023

As an Audiovisual Services company, we cover multiple events with the diversity that this entails. On the occasion of the Spanish Presidency of the Council of the European Union, the Ministry of Equality of the Government of Spain has organized the event “Anti-racism in the European Union”. Our live broadcast via streaming had to integrate sign language interpreters, in Spanish and the international sign system.

The interpreters are placed in front of cameras combined with those of the closed circuit in order to reframe them or position them on the final screen. They are usually placed on the sides of the stage, trying not to interfere with the audience's vision of the room.

This image is received in control and through content management software, multiple screens are superimposed in PIP (Picture in Picture) mode, located in a way that does not interfere with the live broadcast, normally on the sides of the bottom.

The interpreters usually rotate every 15-20 minutes, and the camera should only be reframed in case there are differences in framing due to their height.
We work closely with sign interpreter companies, as well as live transcriptions, integrating subtitles at the bottom of the live. The result eliminates communication barriers, with a broadcast that is more inclusive and accessible to deaf people.

MD has extensive experience in renting live broadcasts for events, integrating multiple contents and broadcasting via streaming.
