Audiovisuals for exhibitions and museums

Audiovisual resources are increasingly present in temporary exhibitions and museums. They are a key tool for the artist to reach the visitor through light, sound, and image. The author creates this narrative depending on whether it is intended to be contemplative, immersive, or interactive.
Contemplative
Many exhibitions use projections where the artist can be observed in his conceptual search for his work, with scenes in his studio or the places or coincidences that have inspired his work, or simply his work as the content. They usually take the form of projectors and screens in specially designed areas, with the possibility of viewing from seats and stools, achieving greater comfort and concentration. The evolution of projectors has taken a qualitative leap in recent years, with greater lumen output and with the new laser technology with 3DLP technology, which uses light more efficiently to display any image, data, or video with greater clarity and is extremely quiet. There is a wide range of LED monitors, covering multiple sizes and formats, including giant LED TVs. They are used with floor stands, tabletop mounts, or wall mounts, depending on the installation. Both are typically broadcast using players designed to loop the content, allowing you to restart the content all day without any manipulation.
Immersive
Immersive art is designed to make the viewer become part of the work. The artist achieves total immersion by captivating the audience's senses through light, sound, images, colors, and smells. The works transform the physical space with projections that extend from the walls to the ceiling and floor. High-end, professional-quality projectors are used, and the installation requires the playback of multiple projected content synchronized and configured for extended projection during the work's scheduled time. Although not common, immersion is also possible with properly arranged LED screens or monitors. It does require good sound equipment and a good design that allows the space to be soundproofed, ensuring crystal-clear sound and complementing the immersion.
Interactive
Current technologies allow for interactivity with the work. There are LED monitors that allow touch operation, allowing the audience to navigate the work or the system. Other audiovisuals allow the viewer to walk on the projection, or touch the wall to interact with the projection using motion detectors.
