The Loop Festival unites its multiple projects to highlight how moving images create special visions and encounters. This edition considers mirages as images of what is desired, which appear to us, even fleetingly, to bring joy, energy, confidence, and enthusiasm.
Loop Barcelona presented a powerful program divided into three sections: the Loop Fair art fair, the Loop Festival traveling festival, and the Loop Symposium Think Tank. During the ten days of the festival, MD installed audiovisual equipment in multiple cultural and artistic spaces throughout the city, highlighting the importance of video and the artist. Loop Barcelona transforms images into experiences. With locations that invite exploration of the artists' work, the audiovisual equipment is carefully chosen to aesthetically complement the artist's work and the surroundings.

The Festival featured 155 national and international artists, 74 galleries, and three prominent exhibitions exploring video art, in diverse locations such as Casa Elizalde, the Hivernacle, the Music Museum, the Enric Miralles Foundation, and Sant Sever Hospital, among others.
In addition to the aesthetic appeal of the location, the artistic and decorative appeal of the artwork itself is crucial, requiring the use of vintage audiovisual equipment, concave screens, synchronized source auto-loops, surround sound, and fabric projections.
