How to minimize the Audiovisual impact in certain places?

12-09-2018

At MD Audiovisual Services we design projects minimizing the visual impact in certain environments. During pre-production we already prioritize this concept, even during the acquisition of new audiovisual material. Minimizing the visual impact means being respectful of the architecture and history of unique spaces. A good example is the imposing Basilica of Santa María del Mar, where MD has installed its equipment on several occasions. This ancient setting is a great example of Catalan Gothic, and requires respectful audiovisual treatment. Current technology offers quality together with elegance and a great design capable of blending into the environment.

LD Systems Array CURV 500®

The Array system features WaveAhead® technology for high-definition sound quality, and features a powerful 15" Bass Reflex subwoofer. Its monobloc design interconnects via a SmartLink® adapter.

Thanks to its clever design, you get a wide dispersion of the sound, as well as a harmonic integration in the event.

Quad-4 RGBA LED Par

Our RGBA LED Par Quad-4 lighting consists of spotlights that have a powerful battery with long autonomy and can be operated by remote control, avoiding all kinds of cables. Their small size (145 x 138 x 191 mm), allows them to be placed in this case at the foot of columns, being hidden from the public and minimizing the visual impact.

LASER Wall Projection

Another resource is the projection on the same wall. Certain environments have a story to tell from their walls and their language must be respected. On multiple occasions MD Servicios Audiovisuales has projected onto these, avoiding screens that could break their aesthetics. Thanks to the new laser projectors, an image of high brightness and sharpness is achieved.

WIRELESS cameras

Thanks to our Teradek®, we can operate the cameras without cable. This wireless device is connected to the camera output, and emits the signal to be received from the realization control. This, in addition to avoiding the multiple cables and their long routes through the environment, facilitates its mobility, being able to move and be located in the center of the action.

PRIVACY screen

In most events we cover the tables where the technicians are located and the control of video, sound, lights, streaming, content broadcast and CMS. We do this by means of a privacy screen, which is a very elegant black metal framed screen, which can be spliced together to make long lengths. This allows preserving the aesthetics of the event and concealing the presence of the audiovisual material under control
